“It is complicated.” At least, 58% of hospitalized patients present with an electrolyte or acid-base disorder. Management of these conditions is often arcane, challenging, or counterintuitive.  They markedly contribute to patients’ deterioration, morbidity and mortality.

This continued medical education course addresses all aspects of electrolyte disorders and acid-base imbalances.  It covers up to 20 credit-hours.
