It is estimated that 9% of all adults carry a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus.  About 10% of all Americans suffer from diabetes mellitus. The condition begets secondary diseases in all organ systems. Diabetes mellitus is thereby a prominent primary and secondary cause of mortality all over the world.

This continued medical education course details all different aspects of diabetes mellitus, from pathological physiology to updates in oral and parenteral treatment.  It covers up to 20 credit-hours.
