Every year, in average, one million people die due to poisoning. Poisons can be natural or synthetized.  This serious endemic affects all substrates of the population, and greatly contributes to the worsening global suicide rate.

This continued medical education course reviews the different toxicologic syndromes and the substances that are involved. It makes an inventory of the means to prevent or cure these conditions.  It covers up to 20 credit-hours.
