Obesity, or excess weight, affect 1/3 of the world population. It is involved in millions of deaths a year.  Obesity is metabolically related to hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hypercholesterolemia, thereby  in a prominent association with cardio-vascular diseases. Obesity is also associated with most cancers.

This continued medical education course explores all issues about obesity, from epidemiology to surgical therapy. It covers up to 20 credit hours.
